Born Silvia Solange Diego on May 23, 1981 in Montevideo, Uruguay. I spent most of my childhood in the Maldonado.

At the age of 11 I wrote my first poem “Pensando en Ti”, which begins this magical journey that is now my first book “Buscando la Nada”.

In 2002 I made the decision to leave my native country and try my luck in the United States. Here I met my husband, Daniel Susperreguy, with whom today we have two beautiful children named Nicholas and Mathias.

The day my best friend, Marice, told me: "Silvia, what you have written, you must make a book." I just laughed and said, "No, Marice, you're crazy!"

More than 10 years later, "Buscando la Nada" has become my reality. I dream that reaches people and leads them to want to that same search. In my book, I began to speak with love and ended up speaking with life.

** I also collaborated in the book ‘Poetic Anthology 3’ ''.
You can find my new book ‘Historias para Mis Hijos’.
